Jahan opens a new restaurant in Lymm!

Jahan opens a new restaurant in LymmLymm has something to celebrate! The Jahan Restaurant Group has opened its doors to a new branch in Lymm.

The official opening celebration took place on Tuesday 26th January in the new restaurant located at the heart of Lymm Village. It was packed with local businesspeople, dignitaries, regular Jahan customers and of course the team from GAP PR and Marketing.

Guests were welcomed with a champagne reception served by waitresses in traditional, elegant salwar kameez.  A delicious buffet, a stunning magician and a friendly atmosphere in the modern interior all helped to make the evening a great success and we were delighted to receive several emails from guests saying how much they had enjoyed themsleves.

GAP PR&M were responsible for the organisation of the whole event including staff, the guest list, guest invitations, booking entertainment and arranging publicity.

Jahan celebrates their 4th anniversary

The Jahan resJahan Party Web 1taurant in Warrington has just turned four years old and we helped to organise the birthday party. Business people, local dignitaries, clients and the staff of GAP PR and Marketing attended the event. Nobody wanted to miss the delicious Indian food and traditional Bollywood dancers.

A glass of champagne, music and a friendly atmosphere entertained the guests until dinner. Then after the meal, everyone enjoyed Bollywood dancers who livened up the evening together with a traditional sitar player giving the party an authentic Indian spirit.

It was a great celebration of Jahan’s Anniversary.

The Indian Ocean scores a hat-trick

Ben-Aftab-Fayaz mediumThe Indian Ocean has been named the best Indian restaurant in the North West for the third year running at the British Curry Awards.

To celebrate their hat-trick of awards, they held a huge party where specially invited guests enjoyed  a delicious banquet and sampled a brand new range of Taylor and Shroff fine wines.

Everyone got to sample each of the five wines with their innovative flavours, specially designed for spicy food. Designed to be served over ice the new range will be available to all guests this Christmas.

In just 2 months, GAP PR and Marketing has doubled the number of its staff. Hugh Murphy started work experience at GAP PR and Marketing in September and has now been offered a full time role in the company. He will work side-by-side with Guy Parker and Polly Winder implementing PR and marketing campaigns for their diverse range of customers.

Hugh finished his degree in International History and Politics one year ago at Leeds University. Since then, as well as travelling in Australia and New Zealand, he has completed work experience as a journalist before moving into PR. He enjoys copywriting but at the same time also likes working on business development, hence his decision to join GAP who work closely with their clients to increase their revenue and profits.

Hugh said, “I am delighted to work here. I have learnt alot already, and now I can fully put that into practice for our clients.”

Ana flies from Spain to GAP PR and Marketing

Ana Aguaron web 232x300 Ana flies from Spain to GAP PR and MarketingGAP PR and Marketing has a new team member. Guy and Polly have been joined by Spanish graduate Ana Aguaron  from Zaragoza, a city located in the north of Spain between Madrid and Barcelona. Ana finished her degree in Advertising and PR this summer at San Jorge University in Zaragoza and now she wants to put into practice her knowledge of Advertising, PR and Marketing.

It’s a great opportunity for both sides. Ana will be able to improve her English and learn how real life is in a PR company, and at the same time GAP PR and Marketing has another person to help work on their accounts. GAP PR and Marketing has given several foreign students the opportunity of work experience in the past from all over the world, but Ana is the first from Spain.

Ana explained: “I am very happy that GAP PR has given me this opportunity because I’ll get some great hands on experience. Also working every day with British people helps me to improve my English really fast”.
